Mission Research Consultant: James Nelson

Special Focus: qualitative and quantitative research, including surveys and focus groups, research panels, statistical analysis, teaching/training

For more than two decades James has enabled organizations to listen effectively to their constituents through research. James has provided research services for a diverse array of organizations, including Compassion International, Tyndale House Publishers, AARP, KFC, Federal Express, Boeing, Clorox, FamilyLife and the U.S. Army. He directs Global Mapping International's Engage! project to help sending agencies understand and improve retention. He is currently examining best practices in developing new faith communities.

As part of the our Professional Services Network, James is committed to encouraging our community to listen intentionally through a variety of methods, including survey reviews, cooperative projects or custom research projects to test new initiatives, understand audiences or evaluate ministry impact.
